The new OSU Seafood Research Center was contructed using a grant from US Department of Agriculture and the State of Oregon. It was completed in Fall 1997. The new OSU Seafood Laboratory occupies the left wing of the building, while OSU Extension Station, Oregon Fish and Wild Life, Oregon Traw Commission, and Clatsop Economic Development Commission share the bulding.
The New OSU Seafood Laboratory consists of Product and Food Engineering Laboratory , Biochemistry Laboratory , Microbiology Laboratory , Pilot Plant ,and offices for the faculty, staff, and graduate students.
